Want to travel to Galapagos without a tour? It's possible with some planning and preparation. My family and I took a 10-day trip in January 2018, and we are sharing our experience. This website is designed to provide critical information to assist you in planning your DIY trip to the Galapagos!

 

The Galapagos is an archipelago approximately 600 miles off the coast of Ecuador. The islands are volcanic in origin and are known for their unique plants and animals on land and in the sea. As you probably know, Charles Darwin spent time in these islands and collected many organisms to study.
